Velmi pěkné muzeum, kde se dozvíte velmi podrobně historii města Krupky a historii dobývání cínu v tomto kraji. Zajímavé.
A very nice museum where you can learn in great detail the history of the town of Krupka and the history of tin mining in this region. Interestingly.

Unlike a large part of its surroundings, Krupka is trying to develop culturally and this museum is still a small example of the way in the right direction.

The museum exhibits exhibits on the history of the town of Krupka, tin mining, stuffed animals of the Ore Mountains, and great models of mushrooms. certainly worth a visit and entertain even children who are otherwise bored in the museum.

Historická budova dostane novou sedlovou střechu i novou fasádu. Uvnitř vznikne například bezbariérový výtah, recepce a zázemí pro služby města. Stavebními úpravami projdou i vnitřní schodiště, sociální zařízení, stěny, stropy a podlahy jednotlivých místností. The museum, which is located right in the heart of the Urban Conservation Area in originally burger house, houses a permanent exhibition devoted to tin mining, nature and history of the region. The section of paleontology and mineralogy was also interesting. Originally a Renaissance two-storey row house was rebuilt in the late 18th century and then again in the 19th century. The museum is unfortunately closed from 31 January 2018 to 2021 due to extensive reconstruction. The historic building gets a new saddle roof and new facade. Inside there will be a wheelchair lift, a reception and a background for city services. Building modifications will go through the internal staircase, sanitary facilities, walls, ceilings and floors of individual rooms. Only exposition devoted to the city and mining of tin, which will significantly expand, will return to the museum after the reconstruction. The Nature of Northwest Bohemia exhibition will be moved to the Teplice Chateau.
