Matěje byla zřízena už roce 1403, zanikla však za husitských válek v 15. století a obnovena pak byla až v červenci 1771, právě v souvislosti s výstavbou současného kostela. Dříve se farní úřad nacházel v budově čp. 20 vedle usedlosti Fišerka, což připomíná název restaurace "Na staré faře". Až do roku 1827 byla v bývalé farní budově škola a byt učitele. Nová budova fary byla vybudována v roce 1892 a dnes je krásně zrekonstruovaná.
Parish at the church of st. Mathew was established already in 1403, but disappeared during the Hussite wars in the 15th century and was not restored until July 1771, just in connection with the construction of the present church. Previously, the parish office was located in building no. 20 next to the homestead called Fišerka, which resembles the name of the restaurant "Na staré faře" (meaning "at the old vicarage"). Until 1827 there was a school and a teacher's apartment in the former parish building. The new parish object was built in 1892 and is now beautifully renovated.
