I still haven’t found the type of nail salon I am used to in the US — here, there seems to be a choice between either really cheap/little sketchy or quite a bit more pricey than I’m used to. This salon is on the pricier side (the pedicure costs 1500 Kc, which is close to $70), but the experience was very good. The woman who gave me my pedicure was very friendly and pleasant, and did a lot of work on my feet — removing callouses, doing a careful treatment of cuticles, good polish. The salon itself feels very stylish and nice. It was worth it. Be aware that they don’t take credit cards, and that you’ll probably need a reservation (they have an online system that was user friendly).
