The Fráňa Šrámek Museum was founded in the late 1950s from the impulse of Milka Hrdličková-Šrámková and Šrámek's local friends as a literary memorial to the poet and prose writer, who was born in Sobotka. Today, you will find here a multimedia and modernly solved exhibition about the life and work of a writer, poet and playwright, where your visit will be liven with comics, video, audio, 3D exhibits, photographs, poems, or creative tasks. A rarity is the projection of a ten-minute amateur documentary film by the brothers Josef and Miroslav Boudyšová "Fráňa Šrámek in Sobotka in 1937," probably the only film depicting Šrámek. The Frána Šrámek Museum was established at the end of the 1950s. at the instigation of Milka Hrdličková-Šrámková and Šrámková's friends of the Sabbath as a literary memorial to the poet and novelist, and especially the local native.
