Easy orientation. T2 is more modern than T1 and so security is solved much better right at the beginning of the private part. Lately, T2 has been able to get to new destinations thanks to low-cost companies.

Don't miss Pilsner Urquell and goulash in the restaurant near Václav, a model of the airport from Lega in the hall, or a world map in the tiles on the floor (even though it lacks the Virgin Islands :-)

Newly built airport. I must say that it is modern and new. The whole building has a large amount of police, clean toilets. Almost no one is here during the coronavirus crisis. There are places to seize. Unfortunately, there are badly built seats for me, which you can't lie on. Otherwise, I evaluate everything very positively.

There is problem with free parking. Its just 15mins in one hour in Departures area and NO free parking near the Arrivals terminal. When you meet someone, you still have to pay for parking..

While a direct train to the city would be better, the bus options are well signposted, tickets are sold in both staffed info kiosks where they give you a free map, or in cards-accepting ticket machines at the stop. And last but not least, it costs less than 1 EUR to get to the city center.

I suggest you to use public transport from the airport instead of the taxi. 90 min ticket for 1,3 Euro (transfers allowed). Line 100 is express line over highway to underground B station Zličín (yellow line) (no excess fare, stops only in the area of the airport). Line 119 is standard line to underground A (green line) Veleslavin. Prague transport is reliable, clean, quick, short interval. You can buy ticket in the ticket machines directly on the airport / at the stations and pay by card / cash. At the Zličín station (end station of line 100 and underground B)(17 minutes) is big shopping centre, fast foods, coffee (9-22) . Line 100 interval is 15 minutes most of the day.
