Beautiful grounds that overlook the beauty of Karlovy Vary.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms were nicely furnished and spacious. (Single bedroom suite) Very nice touches like the changing screen and provided robes and slippers. The bed was huge! Could probably fit a 3rd person. The view from our room was to die for as well as the views from the garden terrace behind the hotel. Overall an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable stay. If I ever return to Karlovy vary I will definitely try to stay here again! The location was perfect, within walking distance from the kolonnades and close to the Grand hotel pupp.

The grounds are beautifully maintained and the place is clean and prominently placed with long ranging views. Was great to visit the inspiration for The Grand Budapest Hotel. The coffee was tasty and the staff very friendly.

It is complex of hotels which have common spa area. We stayed in Bristol Palace. It has really nice staff and rooms are castle like. Hotel is very adapted to Russian speaking clientele, so some signs are only in Russian, and some staff are Russian language natives. We visited it during Covid aftermath, so spa was working partially only in saving mode, which is main reason why I give one star less, as it should work as advertised.

bad organization. they manage 6 hotels with only 1 reception of 2 people, even during the most important event in the city (international film festival). in our building there was no hot water and the light went out. they were unable to repair it before we left. not to mention the total absence of parking. DO NOT book this group of hotels

What an experience! Let's start with the positives: Extremely and very helpful staff, good (not extraordinary breakfast), beautiful location. There was however a few things which left me baffled (and amused). After checking in, we went to the hotel's spa area, where we were greeted friendly by staff, handing us our towels. But behold! Instead of real towels, we received bed linen instead. I am walking on the surface of the planet for 30 years now only to learn now we can use linen as towels! A revelation indeed! Returning back home after the vacation, I quickly replaced towels with linen. My girlfriend was not pleased, I can tell you. Clearly, she doesn't appreciate the superior absorption properties of linen. Her loss! After changing, we spent time in the whirlpool, which had a 15 mins on off sequence. However, it seems that the pool clock was located next to a super massive black hole, slowing down the count down for the unsuspecting spa visitor on earth. In other words, the nozzles were bubbling continuously. The last station was the sauna. The hotel offers individual saunas for men and women in their respective changing areas. However, the women sauna was tempered at 20°C (293.15 °K). My girlfriend, already annoyed by my continuous fascination about the linen towel and applied special relativity in the spa, did not react well to my remark that the different sauna temperatures seem to cater for the reduced heat regulation of the woman body. We both went to the men's sauna together, which I left 5 mins before my girlfriend, not being able to stand the heat anymore. All in all, we had a very nice stay in Karlovy Vary and the hotel, with the occasional involuntary hilarious moment.

This hotel, lifted from the pages of a novel, will please the senses and bring complete relaxation. Get a massage, go for a swim, or convalesce the old fashioned way. The staff speaks only Czech and German.
