★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lokalita byla příhodná pro osídlení už v pravěku, což dokládají i nálezy z doby bronzové. Vlastní ves je středověkého původu a nejstarší písemná zpráva o ní pochází z roku 1253. Původně se jednalo o samostatnou vesnici, která byla roku 1968 připojena ku Praze. Dnes tu žije přes 3 000 obyvatel. Název Ďáblice nesouvisí s ničím pekelným. Ves se původně jemnovala Davlice, což vzniklo odvozením z vlastního jména Davel.
The site was suitable for settlement already in prehistoric times, which is also evidenced by finds from the Bronze Age. The village itself is of medieval origin and the oldest written record of it dates back to 1253. Originally it was a separate village, which was annexed to Prague in 1968. Today there are over 3 000 inhabitants. The first Prague panel house was built in Ďáblice in 1953.
