Please be aware of a scam that happened to me in January 2019. Online i saw the price of one offer that I wanted that (something that would have allowed me to have 500 MB for 199 CZK). I saw that offer on the vodafone official website and I checked beforehand with this shop via email and they said all good. However, when I went they they said that they have only one option with is for 400 CZK for 500 MB. I believe that was very much of a scam when they saw tourists. For this reason, I would suggester either avoid this fishy shop or get only the sim card (200 CZK) and activate the offer by yourself sending the correct sms to vodafone.

Not the first time I've been burned by Vodafone. I purchased an expensive SIM card that I was told would give me data in Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, and Hungary. I was planning on purchasing a SIM card in each of the above listed countries but the attendant convinced me to pay the premium for the convenience. Needless to say the thing only worked in the Czech Republic. Which I left after one day. And now I'm in Austria and there are no Vodafone stores here! Essentially I paid over €100 for one day of data. They may have the best network but I find Vodafone to be sleazy.

Be aware of the staff!!!! when i arrived to the terminal where the shop is, I asked the vodafone staff what tariffs and options they offered, and the guy just replied that it is all depends on my choice, so it kinda like blind choice if you didn't do some research on the selection of vodafone prepaid cards. Anyway, I bought a 10gb package eventually, and I gave the staff 2000czk, he only returned me 400czk(200x2) of changes, I was so shock at the moment, but my uber driver was waiting outside the terminal, so I was just leaving instead of taking some actions. I am wondering if I should call the police or what.

I've purchased sim cards in several other EU countries, and this has been the most expensive transaction I've encountered. For comparison, a sim card in the Barcelona airport only cost me around $40, yet I was charged roughly 70 Euro here. Both cards were 10gb and allowed for data roaming. If I were to come back to Prague, I'd take the bet of buying a sim card elsewhere. Don't get fooled with ridiculous tourist prices.

Paid for 5GB of data for 1400kc. My phone says I've used 1.73GB in the last week, this is never 3+GB off in the States. Right after it was on Airplane mode I got a text saying I reached my limit, now only get 25MB per day and still have over 900kc on my account that I can't use in the next week. On top of this, the salesman sold me a world-wide rate because I was going to be in Austria and Slovenia for a few days, Europe is one rate but I paid 500kc more than I should have because he said I needed a world rate. Either lied or didn't know what he was doing. Overall a rip off. Don't use Vodafone and definitely don't buy it at the airport. Update: I found out that prepaid sim cards with Vodafone start and end on the first of the month, so I paid 1400kc for one week of data and calling. The salesman actually told me my 5GB plan expires in 3 months. This location lost all credibility!

Dumb thing was broken. Deducted money twice but returned it soon. Also there was nobody to help out. I think someone should be there because not all international people know how to make the vending machine work.

The packet I bought did not contain the tool to help change the sim card on my phone.

Superb service at prague airport. So easy to get to the vodafone store and get a new sim for international traveller coming first time. The simcards are easy to install and the staff is very helpful
