VZP for Foreigners commenced in 2004 with the goal of providing affordable, high quality Private Foreigners Comprehensive Health Insurance to those not eligible for public insurance, but desiring western care and service in English and other languages.
We launched VZP for Foreigners in 2006 to meet the Czech Republic’s entry into the EU’s Schengen Zone and with it, a new law requiring foreigners to enroll in approved private health insurance.
Since 1995, VZP has been building the largest health insurance company in the country, encompassing all
hospitals and many private clinics.
Hamilton Hudson was established in New York City in 1989 and has been providing private insurance in the Czech Republic since 2001.

Within few days i had an appointment scheduled with a top clinic and doctor and except for going there for my visit i had nothing else to do, everything was taken care of prior and after my visit. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company is not associated with the Official VZP state insurance at all.
The guy who answered gave me false information regarding the insurance policies (among other things) and tried to sell me his own insurance.
The price he gave me was very high and the insurance plan it self was limited.
For foreigners (not from EU) it shouldn't cost more than 1800 CZK for three months (VZP).

Bad system, bad call center, bad procedures, long waiting time (up to 6 weeks) for an appointment, a small number of English speaking doctors...
So, why do you call yourself insurance for foreigners ?
