★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Za nás spokojenost! Chodíme 2x až 3x do roka. Děti si vždy užijí ZOOlogickou a o dětské zábavě na každém rohu nemluvě. Máme to tam rádi.
 Satisfaction for us! We go 2 to 3 times a year. Children will always enjoy ZOOlogical and children's entertainment on every corner. We like it there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pragues Zoo is an amazing place to visit. Its cheap, its gigantic and offers a whole day of walking around looking at animals. Its sutible for all ages!
I just love it, but it has a fatal flaw. If you are a tourist, you wont learn anything. All text is in czech. There is a complete history of every single elephant that has ever existed in the zoo, records of the nazis occupying the area during ww2 and just so much cool and good information. But I would not know any of this unless my girlfriend was czech.
The descriptions in english are basicly: "Elephants are big. They eat a lot of hay", "This fish is from Africa, its awake during the night" and "This tiger is almost extinct. Thats not good". While the czech text is 10 paragraps long with background, living conditions, history, the animals personality and so much more. Thr english translation gets two lines of Wikipedia level of information shoved down to the right corner in small font. Its just not that fun.
So unfortunatly, I can't really recommend the zoo. Only if you bring a czech friend to translate for you.
