The beautiful monumental neo-Romanesque church from 1914-1915, built of blocks, dominates the village and is visible from afar. It is surrounded by a cemetery and a wooden bell tower stands next to it. Cultural monument of the Czech Republic. The current building replaced the original Gothic church from the 13th century. From the church, the Stations of the Cross leads to the Vyskeř hill.

Svědčí o tom raně gotický portálek do sakristie, dochovaný ve dnešním kostele. Ten byl postaven v letech 1914–15 podle projektu turnovského architekta Karla Salače. V roce 1723 získal kostel zvon Maria, ale ten byl později pro svou velkou váhu 314 kg sejmut a zavěšen na dřevěnou zvonici stojící poblíž kostela.
