★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A unique in the world Cubist street lamp post situated at the side gate of the church of the Virgin Mary Sněžná.
This unique work of Bohemian Cubism was created in 1913 by architect Emil Králíček.
The post made from artificial stone has a crystalline shape typical of the local variant of this style.

That being said, It's a decent lamp post. The light wasn't on when I visited, so only 4 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only scenario that you would like this is if you where obsessed with lamps... But if you're not, although it is one of a kind, it's just a different lamp that you'll look at for about 10 seconds before getting bored... There is absolutely no reason why you would want to see this lamp post. I have no idea what people are thinking giving it 5 stars but this is simply a lamp post.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Cubist Lamp Post is ok. Quite an interesting little feature, but you probably have to be a particular fan of the Cubist movement to fully appreciate it.
Our visit was marred because I only wanted to take a couple of photos but, moments after we arrived, a group of people gathered round it...with their pet rats. They then spent the next 20 minutes or so showing off, comparing and trading their rats!
It was all a bit weird, and they seemed completely oblivious to the dagger stares I was giving them as I stood there with my massive camera in my hand.
All in all, the Cubist Lamp Post was a bit of a waste of time. If you're passing, it's worth taking a quick look, but probably not worth making a special pilgrimage to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s unique lamp the has some cool architecture around it. If you are into art and architecture you should go see it. It’s sort of secluded but in the tourist area.
