Sportovci mezi regály
S nápadem nabízet vybavení pro všechny sporty pod jednou střechou přišla parta sedmi mladých nadšenců na severu Francie v polovině sedmdesátých let. Dnes zákazníci naše pobočky bezpečně poznají díky přátelskému prostředí a možnosti vyzkoušet většinu výrobků přímo na místě.
Hlavním trumfem každé naší prodejny je však její tým tvořený aktivními a nadšenými sportovci. Na žádné z nich nenarazíte na „prodavače a podavače“, ale na sportovní poradce, kteří se s vámi rádi podělí o rady i vlastní zkušenosti. Výrobky ostatně často vyzkoušeli na vlastní kůži, což odpovídá i mottu našeho zakladatele Michela Leclercqa: „Chceš-li zákazníkovi co nejlépe poradit, jdi si s ním zasportovat.”
To platí dodnes, i když od té doby Decathlon vyrostl a dnes má více než 1 600 prodejen v 60 zemích světa. V České republice jsme první prodejnu otevřeli v roce 2010 v Liberci a v současnosti jich máme 25. Rozhodně to ale není konečné číslo, protože svým zákazníkům se chceme co nejvíce přiblížit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friday mid day it was not very crowded, staff was very friendly. The line at the check out moving very quickly. Overall a nice experience ?. The only problem is a security button left on one item. We and even the cashier overlooked that and it did not buzz at the exit! So we have make another trip there in a near future ?.

Everything you would require for summmer/winter camping is found in one store. The products have more attractive prices comparing to those of the competitors on the market (including online). We were happy to find a variety of microfibre towels and the best price for the basic raincoat (149 CZK) here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very big store with a lot of spots equipment and clothes. The sales staff is helpful and efficient, you'd be served quickly both if you buying here or just picking up an order from their eShop.
The parking lot is small, though. And it's not very convenient to walk there from public transport stop because of a highway and roads running around the place.
