D	David Dobeš on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Krásný a svébytný kostel na magickém místě pod Branickou skalou. Zajímavý interier, daný specifickou dřevěnou stavbou (i když by si zase malinko zasloužil obnovit). Milá komunita a pěkné bohoslužby. Projektory v kostele umožňují zapojení do bohoslužby (promítání videí, obrázků, textů písní apod.) Po dostavbě velmi oceňuji vedlejší budovu "klubovny" dobře zajištěný sbor - lze zajistit nedělní školu, mimobohoslužebné aktivity. Beautiful and unique church in a magical place below the Branická skala. An interesting interior, given by a specific wooden structure (though it would be worthwhile to restore again). A nice community and nice worship. Projectors in the church allow worship (projection of videos, pictures, song lyrics, etc.) Upon completion, I greatly appreciate the adjoining "clubhouse" building with a well-arranged choir - Sunday school, out-of-home activities can be arranged.

Použitý stavební materiál - smrkové dřevo - měl být v poválečných dobách nouze jen provizorní, počítalo se s pozdější kamennou modlitebnou. A je dobře, že se tak nestalo. Stavba kostela podle projektu architekta Pavla Bareše probíhala v období od září 1947 do dubna 1948. Slavnostně otevřen byl 9. května 1948. V roce 1990 získala stavba novou apsidu z borového dřeva, která byla ke staršímu jádru přistavěna podle návrhu architekta Davida Vávry. V roce 2016 se začala stavět vedle kostela nová přístavba, podle plánů stejného architekta. The wooden structure under the sandstone rock looks fabulous, almost fairy tale-like. The building material used - spruce wood - was supposed to be temporary only in the post-war poverty era, a later stone house of prayer was planned. And it is good that it did not happen. The construction of the church according to the project of architect Pavel Bareš took place from September 1947 to April 1948. It was inaugurated on 9 May 1948. In 1990 the building received a new pine wood apse, which was added to the older core according to the design by architect David Vávra. In 2016, a new extension was built next to the church, according to the plans of the same architect. The wooden structure under the sandstone rock looks fabulous. The building material used - spruce wood - was to be only temporary in the post-war period of emergency, a later stone prayer house was planned. And it's good that it didn't happen.
