★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nejstarší sídelní jádro Plzeňského předměstí se rozkládá na rostlém půdorysu podél několika ulic severně od historického jádra města. Ústředním prostorem předměstí byl plácek před Saskou branou. Jednu z tamních dominant tvoří krásně zrekonstruovaná budova bývalého vodního mlýna jehož kořeny sahají min. do 16. stol. Obytná budova je výsledkem barokní přestavby, dosud dochovaná mlýnice postavena v r. 1877. Na přelomu 19. a 20. stol. původní hosp. zázemí mlýna postupně pohltila přestavba na železárnu.
The oldest settlement core of the Pilsen suburb in Rokycany is situated on a raised ground plan along several streets north of the historical center of the city.
