★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting at the moment as it is whole dogged deep down for the repair works. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to get close to it to see it properly. There is a ferry (during a season) running a cross the river but be careful as it's not below the lock it actually runs from somewhere around the old bridge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hořin bridge and all other bridges over Moldau in the area are under repairs, there are no plausible warnings in any language but Czech, and even the latter is such that even the locals do not understand it. As a cyclist, you have great difficulties to reach melnik. Most unfriendly.
