Well we’ll we’ll, this is one of those restaurants that’s located in a great place busy and with a good chap at the door and great pictures that draw you in. We wish we’d read the reviews before deciding to watch here. Let us why……. Went inside, seated at a table for two and had decided on dinner as it was 8pm and we’d just come out of a concert and we’re hungry. We were served by a waiter who, as nice as he was, was a little nervous. We ordered water, two mains (the meat platter and the chicken risotto with truffle) and a bottle of Valpolicella. The waiter came back to say there were no truffles, would we still like the risotto. We changed the order to scallops risotto. The waiter opened and poured the wine (nervously) and the food arrived 5mins later - I’d say too quick for a risotto cooked to order (as it should be). The meat platter was a lot smaller than it looked on the menu, more bread and sake than meat. The scallops risotto had one small with 4 miniature scallops on the plate - less than most restaurants would serve on a starter. We ate it anyway, food was cooked quite well but the wine seemed below par given the £20 price tag. We were not checked either but hey ho, by this point we’d accepted that the service was minimal. The problems started when we asked for the bill. A gentleman who’d taken nothing to do with us cam over, put the bill down and read out a number at the bottom mod the page. The is where we recommend you all BEWARE!!! The actual bill was 1800cz but the restaurant had added on another 236 under the guise of a recommended tip of 10/12/15% when we realised this we let the tram leader who’d delivered the bill know that we’d not be paying the tip as the meal, service and wine were below par. Them he decided to be argumentative and tell us that 10% tip was the minimum we HAD to pay. I asked him to show me where the Rio was mandatory, he kept arguing, I told him I’d spent many years in hospitality and wasn’t going to be played by him. He backed off, we payed the bill, thanked him for the meal and got a mouthful of attitude in return again, In summary - the food is overpriced, portions small (though cooked well enough). The main issue is the dodgy team leader everyone seem to complain about who try to fleece the tourist coming to the old town. Better places to eat down the side streets.

Extremely arrogant service. When asked for a bill waiter brought a bill and when I aksed if I can tip on card, he told that it is already included. I DO LIVE IN PRAGUE and restaurants should NEVER include tips. The bill says the amount and suggested tip. I said a different tip and waiter said that he doesn't want my tips. He was extremely arrogant and when I said that he is rude, he told that I'm being rude as he LET me have just a drink during a dinner time, and not leaving him tips as he wanted. Just incredible. NOT recommended. Very bad service

Sadly this was one of the worst experiences ever. We waited 40 minutes to order our food, nobody came and when I raised my hand the waiter ignored me 2 times even tho he saw me ( Restaurant wasn’t even half full). So we decided to pay for the drinks and leave. I tried to tell the waiter what the problem was so they can improve as I had to pay at the cashier desk because nobody came, he just ignored me and didn’t even look at me. Never been so disappointed.

Inside/outside....the heaters are fabulous here to keep you toasty while you enjoy their great choice of menu & drinks. The cocktails looked gorgeous, our wine was the best we'd had all weekend, the food great & service was good. Yes, it's a little pricier because of where it is but absolutely worth it.

Me and my miss were looking for a good restaurant to eat dinner and saw the menu was really good, but we left because we waited 30 minutes we asked manytimes to the waitresses and waiters, they said their colleagues would come but nobody came plus being rude and said if you are not happy to wait I recommend look for somewhere else. We was ignored and left waiting I even asked the person by the entrance if we can order he said no wait! When we left we went in the back and seen the staff laughing and talking and leaving the guest to wait with stress, this is not professional and horrible we wanted to have a great time but it seems the staff don’t care at all, they want to have a laugh and talk. I would highly recommend nobody to come here unless if you want to wait more than half an hour or more and get stressed.

The staff are incredibly rude and unwelcoming. They also add their own service charge to your bill so you pay for the pleasure of being spoken to like rubbish. I paid 400czk for a rum and coke which was incorrect and they refused to change the amount. AWFUL avoid avoid avoid. There are better views at Prague Castle. Do not waste your time here. They also demand you buy a drink before taking any photos and then don't come to take your order so you are just sat waiting

Stopped in here with my family for dinner around 7pm. Ordered pasta dishes. Took just over one hour for the order to arrive on a night that was not particularly busy. Food arrived luke warm at best and very small portion for the price. In saying that it was tasty. On the plus side the staff are nice and the views across the square at night are great. Worth a try at least but there are much better restaurants around Prague.

Extremely well located (perhaps the best location of any hotel I have been to in all the cities I have visited in the world) but for lovers, honeymooners, bachelor / bachelorette trip, those desiring a erotic flair to travel. Ambiance is very medieval male consistent with Prague in general, but with an almost kitschy vibe to it (even the breakfast follows a traditional British fry up). The room ceilings are a unique experience. With one of Prague's coolest bars in the basement and best rooftop restaurants/bars on the top, it is unique. The food quality/price ratio is perhaps not the best in Prague. But what can one expect with so much else going for it? But not for those looking for a nice quiet, family oriented place. Thinking wild and unique would be more like it.
