An interesting place that deserves a little care. Cleaning such a small body of water should not be a problem. Definitely worth a look. By the way, I don't understand Google's note "Temporarily Closed"

In the eastern part of Stará Kouřim you will find the remains of Libušina Lake, originally a natural reservoir, renovated in the middle of the 9th century. It used to be a local iconic water space. It is located in a depression between the middle and inner ramparts, west of the middle gate. At the time of Hradiště's greatest glory, it was the most important burial ground. In addition to excavations from graves, archaeologists have found the foundations of a primitive sacral building more than a thousand years old. In the Middle Ages, an execution site with a gallows was erected near this place, where executions took place until 1783, when Kouřim lost her throat right. The nearby pond, which is a remnant of the local pond system from the 15th and 16th centuries, is called Strašík. Today it is just a depression surrounded by several old trees, in which you can see the water only after long rains or during the melting season. In the eastern part of Staré Kouřim you can find a remnant of Libuše´s Lake, originally a natural reservoir, which was settled in the middle of the 9th century. It used to be a cult water area here. It was located in the valley between the middle and inner ramparts, west of the central gate. There was the most important burial ground here at the times of the greatest glory of the settlement. Archaeologists have found the residue of a primitive sacred structure more than a thousand years old together with graves excavations from younger period. In the Middle Ages an executing place with a gallows was located near this site, where executions took place until 1783, when Kouřim town lost it´s right to make executions. Today it is only a slight terrain depression surrounded by several old trees where water can only be seen after long-lasting rain or melting.

A magical place. I remember a pond of water years ago. Unfortunately, now almost dry. Still an ideal trip.
