Nachází se zde Pravoslavný kostel, požární zbrojnice a přes ulici pěkně upravený malý parčík, kde si může každý návštěvník posedět a odpočinout. Celkový dojem je opravdu pěkný. It is newly repaired, very tasteful and in the middle visitors will find a small fountain. Osídlení je zde archeologicky doloženo ještě před založením královského města. Ve 13. století byl v jihovýchodním cípu budoucího náměstí založen minoritský klášter sv. Michaela a celý dnešní prostor předělovala věžová gotická brána zvaná Prunéřovská. Písemnými prameny je tu dokázána i existence kovárny fungující až do 17. století.
