I rented a Volkswagen Polo 1.2 mechanic car in Prague for 4 days in April 2017. The car was in 2014, the mileage was 82,000 km, in excellent condition, exactly what you need, I drove 1,400 km on it without any complaints. Economical in the city, playful on the highway. More compact on the highway will be rather weak, and the consumption will increase. A more powerful one will consume more fuel - we don't need it. We were in Kutná Hora (80 km from Prague), Dresden (150 km), Gluboká nad Vltava and Český Krumlov (170 km), Vienna (330 km). City consumption 5.9 l / 100 km, on the highway 5 liters exactly (120 km / h)! I have never seen anything like this. (I am happy when my Skoda Yeti eats 6.7 liters on the highway). Autobahn cruise control is a thing! In addition, there is an option to save fuel - when stopped, the engine is turned off and turned on automatically by turning the steering wheel or pressing the clutch. It is also beneficial, especially when you are in a traffic jam, it happened to be near St. Pölten in Austria for an hour. I was very pleased with the quality of the service, the employee Yuri explained everything clearly and honestly. The car is delivered and collected from the hotel free of charge. The terms of the lease were fully consistent with the preliminary agreement, it is clear that the company follows the policy declared on the website - information content, variability, fair price. Booked online, no prepayment. For 4 days the cost was 116 euros + 60 euros full insurance. The deposit is 200 euros, after the rental is fully refundable. Vignettes for the Czech Republic and Germany are included in the price. I bought only the Austrian one for 9-10 euros in the Travel shop near the border. A small nuance: the navigator (provided free of charge) slowed down a little and thought for a long time (compared to mine) over drawing up a new route when I turned the wrong way. Keep in mind. If I happen to come to Prague again, I will apply for a car rental to this company. I recommend to all!
