Die Ausstellung ist umfangreich und durchgehend zweisprachig Tschechisch und Englisch, aber teils auch etwas allgemein über die tschechische Geschichte (das Museum wird auch häufig von Schulklassen am Wandertag in Anspruch genommen). Das Spezifische von Jan Komenius und die Entwicklung der Pädagogik gerät dabei in den Hintergrund. Man kann hier aber locker ein oder zwei Stunden verbringen. Echt nervig ist die Mittagspause von 12:30 bis 13:00, wenn man nicht pünktlich um 10:00 auf der Matte steht läuft man Gefahr, mittten im Besuch aus dem Gebäude komplimentiert zu werden. Komenského, které patří mezi nejstarší muzea v České republice, vzniklo v roce 1892 jako výraz snahy českých učitelů o uchování a dokumentování historických tradic českého školství a pedagogiky. Od roku 1996 je sídlem muzea dům U Zlatého slunce (Valdštejnská 20) a dům U Zlatého šífu (Valdštejnská 18). Oba renesanční domy, postavené kolem roku 1540, byly několikrát přestavovány. I	Iva Švandová on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historie Komenského a jeho doby, ale i vzdělávání před Komenským i po něm. Byla jsem tu o muzejní noci, tak to bylo s programem na nádvoří. Muzeum je hezké a zajímavé. Jen to asi není pro všechny. Můžete tu vidět starou a ještě starší třídu a vyzkoušet si krasopis brkem. Taky tu mají kavárnu, která vypadá jako školní třída ? Komenského Výstavní epozice přibližuje historií našeho školství, je velmi zajímavá a poutavě vypráví o událostech spojených s možností vzdělávání dětí. Mnoho obrazů, zařízení tříd, využívání pomůcek, dokresluje myšlenku J A. Komenského: "Škola hrou!" V další části je knihovna J. A. Komenského. V prostředí se konají přednášky, besedy, symposia, kde se návštěvníci setkávají s umělci, herci a také s ilustátory. Zde pak mají po celý den možnost setkat se celou řadou spisovatelů nebo jejich rodinných příslušníků kteří pak představují literární díla a přibližují život a práci vynikajících osobností. Součástí je i třeba autogramiáda. Osobně jsem se zde např. setkala s paní Nepilovou, s dcerou pana Františka Kožika, s panem Šmoldasem a s mnoha dalšími zajímavými lidmi. Byl to nádherně prožitý den!
