St. Nicolas of Tolentino pillar # 11, southern side (the bridge side facing the river flow). Author: Jeroným (Jerome) Kohl or J. B. Kohl in 1708, donor: Augustinian monks from the Church os st. Thomas (copy of J. Jiříkovský from 1970, the original is placed at Gorlice room in Vyšehrad casemates). The statue depicts an Augustinian saint with a lily serving blessed bread, which allegedly still carries miracles (satysfied hunger and healed), as it is carved on a pedestal. Another pastry in a basket is hold by an angel at his feet. There is no agreement among scholars about the authorship of this statue - some mention the contractor, old Jerome, the author of the fountain at II. castle courtyard. Others mention his step-son Jan Bedřich as co-worker or directly the author, with whom his father was in serious disagreement at that time. Sv.
