The hill on which the church with the cemetery stands today used to be a burial ground in ancient times, before AD. In the 14th century, a single nave Gothic church with a rectangular nave and a rectangular presbytery was built on that place. The presbytery is the oldest part of the building. The original radial ribbed vault has been preserved, backrests and spiked windows are visible from outside. In 1887 a partial Baroque reconstruction took place. The church is without a tower. Although two attempts were made for its additional construction, it was always demolished later. The interior furnishings are mainly Baroque and Rococo. Regular worship is every Saturday at 3 pm. Part of the cemetery is also a wooden belfry on the northeast side, standing behind the cemetery wall. It was built after 1763 at the expense of the former owner of the village of Count Kaunic of Osov. It is covered with shingles, has a square layout of 6m x 5m, the wooden structure is on a brick retaining wall, which reaches to the west side a height of 2 meters. The total height of the bell tower is less than 7 meters. Large stones in ancient times served as gravestones, covering the pagan graves on the church hill.

The cemetery and the entrance area in front of it is nicely landscaped. However, the church needs the necessary repairs, given the important mythical history of the local place.
