A beautiful bronze statue of Karel Hynek Mácha, which was unveiled on November 21, 2010. This is the second casting of a statue by J.V. Mysbek, which was supposed to be in Litoměřice 100 years ago. The first casting has been located in Prague on Petřín since 1912.

Litoměřický Petřín, so this place is nicknamed. It also has its own statue of K. H. Mácha. You can find it by the road to Mostná hora on the blue tourist sign. Beautiful place.

Socha, která je dílem sochaře Josefa Václava Myslbeka, měla v Litoměřicích stát už před sto lety - byla ale umístěna v Praze na Petříně (v roce 1912) a její kopie se Litoměřice dočkaly až roku 2010. Od pražské sochy se odlitek liší jen malým detailem - na podstavci nemá věnec.
The bronze statue of the famous poet Karel Hynek Mácha was unveiled in Litoměřice on 21 November 2010 at the main access road to the top of Mostná hora hill. The statue, which is the work of the sculptor Josef Václav Myslbek, was supposed to stand in Litoměřice a hundred years ago - but it was placed in Prague on Petřín hillock (in 1912) and Litoměřice did not see a copy of it until 2010. The cast differs from the Prague statue only in a small detail - it does not have a wreath on the base.
