★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An ancient spot with the spirit of the Czech&Moravian nation being born. The Slavniks were the Dukes competing with the Premyslids and finally losing at the end of the 10th century. Besides the records in the old chronicles and a few archaelogic relics the groundworks are all that tangibly remains to remember. It is good that after Y2K the memorial reminding us of St. Adalbert Slavnik and his brother Radim was erected to commemorate once proud people of this Dukedom and the early Czech Christianity.
