Málo turistů, vyklad přispůsobý kastelán vašim požadavkům. Dobré spojit s výstupem na horu Říp.
Few tourists, interpretation adapted to castellan your requirements. Good to connect with the climb to Mount Rip.

Skupinové prohlídky mimo stanovené časy jsou možné po předchozí domluvě na adrese: [email protected] The monastery was established by bishop Jan IV. of Dražice for the new order of Augustinian canons. The foundation stone was laid in 1333 and the construction lasted over 20 years. The monastery complex is made up of the Temple of the Virgin Mary and the building of it´s own convent. The convent originally had a square ambit with a paradise courtyard, with the capitulary hall in the east part. Throughout the 14th century the Roudnice Church had an enormous activity. At the end of that century there were 30 canons registered here. The first tragedy struck the monastery in 1421 during the campaign of Jan Žižka from Trocnov during his campaign from Litoměřice to Prague, when the object was destroyed and burned by the Hussites. The monastery was also destroyed by several fires, but it was not fully repaired until 1725 when it was rebuilt by the most significant North Bohemian architect of that time, Octavian Broggie. If you are in Roudnice nad Labem, the premises of the church and monastery are definitely worth a visit. From June to September, they offer guided tours every day of the week from 10:00 to 17:00 (weekends from 11:00) starting every whole hour. The meeting point is in front of the entrance to the temple. After a tour, you can refresh and buy small gifts at the sympathetic Monastic Club. Group tours out of the specified times are possible upon prior arrangement at: [email protected]

Under the monastery rises the ore spring, which gave the city a name.

Neprávem málo známý turistický cíl. Úžasná architektura, možnost nahlédnout do "zákulisí". A neuvěřitelně sympatický, vzdělaný a erudovaný průvodce. Cena přitom spíš symbolická
Wrongly little known tourist destination. Amazing architecture, the opportunity to look behind the scenes. And an incredibly nice, educated and erudite guide. The price is rather symbolic

Moc příjemné místo a příjemní lidé.
A beautiful spiritual place with a very nice and sympathetic guide who took us even to places that do not usually show up. The tour was gladly supplemented by the pastor, who answered our questions about the history of the monastery. Very nice place and nice people.
