This is a prison inside the prague castle.. All kinds of punishments people used to get here... There are swords by which people used to beheaded due to any crime.. For dangerous criminal there is a circular hole which led to underground.. There is also a death chamber where people used to buried alive..

Not huge but not a bad insight into a medieval torture chamber / prison. It does not look like it would've been much fun at all to be a prisoner there in the day. Quite a bleak and dire no doubt.

The Daliborka Tower was used as a prison and a torture chamber back in the day. Today, there are various implements of torture which gives an insight into the instruments used for this purpose back in medevil times. The exhibition of the implements is spread over two levels. The Daliborka Tower has not been modernised, so navigating the two levels can be interesting, as the stairs are narrow and old. Still worth a visit.

Prison tower with some exhibits relating to torture and punishment. It's easy to miss as it's located right at the back of the castle, but worth a visit if you are interested. There is some information inside about some of the methods and examples of some of the devices used.

This is an old prison. It’s cool to see what the inside looked like hundreds of years ago and what torture devices they used to use

The Daliborka tower is the prison/place of torture (was there a difference then), of Prague Castle, back in the day. Not it houses prison/torture exhibits on two levels. There's not much on show. there's a single board describing the use of Daliborka tower, plus labels for many of the exhibits. Entry is basically free. Not much to see really, but it's kind of entertaining trying to navigate the tower as it's not been modernised. The building and stairwells are old.
